Title: Canadian Home Healthcare Home care nurse (Respiratory, CPAP)  

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day

Salary: To be negotiated

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: 4 days Hamilton-1 in Kitchener, Ontario (1 vacancy) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Home care and visiting care agency


Area of Specialization: Home care


Specific Skills: Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, Provide health education


Additional Skills: Infection control


Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning


Other Information:Position entails educating, setting up and fitting clients with CPAP devices as well as other home care products. Requires occasional in home visits and rotation between Oakville and GTA locations.
