Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Respiratory home care company


Respiratory Therapist Area of Specialization: Sleep disorders, Respiratory home care


Respiratory Therapist Specific Skills: Operate and monitor respiratory equipment to administer treatments, Maintain and test diagnostic and therapeutic equipment


Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning


Other Information:Position entails educating, setting up and fitting clients with CPAP devices as well as other home care products. Requires occasional in home visits and rotation between Oakville and GTA locations.
